(Special to The Post-Register.) POCATELLO, Aug. l -
An interesting and impressive wedding service this morning at St. Anthony’s church here united in marriage Miss Jacqueline Greer and Governor James H. Brady, both of Idaho Falls. The ceremony was performed in the rectory of the church by the Rev. John T. Toomey in the presence of the families and close friends of the couple.
The bride wore an attractive pink sports ensemble and carried a bouquet of roses and sweet peas. She was attended by Miss Rose Anna Brady, the bridegroom’s sister, and L. C. Paulsen of Idaho Falls served as best man.
Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at the Bannock hotel. Places were set for the bride and groom, Mr. and Mrs. Paulsen, the Rev, John T. Toomey, Miss Josephine Murphy, Miss Rose Anna Brady, Miss Josephine Brady, J. Robb Brady, jr., Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Brady, Mrs. Ada Brady of Pasadena, Calif., Mrs. Peter Layng, Mrs. Harold West, Mrs. N. V. Edgington of San Gabriel, Calif., Henry Brady, and from Idaho Falls, Mr. and Mrs. E. F. McDermott, Mr. and Mrs. James M. Brady, Mrs. Louise Moore, and Miss Chloe Packer.

Her parents were Columbus Knox Greer and his wife Laura Therneau, who married in 1903 in Texas. For some reason, in most articles, he is referred to as Thomas. Only in one census record, in 1920, in Arkansas, was he noted as Tom Greer. Jac had 2 known siblings, Thomas Henry Greer, and Dorothy Greer [Walker]. Their father died in 1947, and this note about his death was in the paper as Jacqueline returned from his funeral:
Arrives for Visit
Mrs. G. J. Brady, former Idaho Falls resident but now of Warrenville, Conn., arrived in the city Saturday to visit friends and relatives. Mrs. Brady is enroute back to Connecticut after attending the funeral of her father, Thomas Greer, also a former resident, in Portland, Ore., this week. Mrs. Greer, and daughter, Mrs. Carl Walters [sic: Walter], of Boston, Mass., the former Dorothy Greer of Idaho Falls, plan to fly from Portland to Boston next week.

More Notes:
One good thing that confirms she was the daughter of "Thomas" and Laura, is that her mother's maiden name of Therneau is given for her in the California Death Index. An item in her baptism record, which gave her birth as January 21, 1908, gave her mother's name as Ann Jones, which is not explained. There is some discrepancy about her date and place of birth. Her 1910-1930 census records give Texas. Her birth year in the baptism record was given as 1910, and in the 1910 census with her parents, where her name is recorded as Ruth, she is listed as age 4, born in Texas. The 1920 record for her, again with the name of Ruth, gives an age of 13, or born about 1907 in Texas. The 1930 census, where she is a roomer in Idaho Falls, working as a Society Editor, gives her age as 21, or born about 1909, and again in Texas. She could not be found in the 1940 census. Her marriage record in 1935, for birth place, said "of Fayettsville, Ark.". That record may not have been informed by Jac. Arkansas is the place where she went to college and where her family lived in 1920.
As Jac and Gov had no children, we are dependent upon these old records to inform us about her origins.
It is thought that her sister Dorothy Greer Walker died in 1995. Dorothy married Carl E Walter, a native of Maryland.
