Her English origin is unknown; she may have been brought to Springfield by a relative or as an indentured servant. She married John Leonard and they had 15 children. Leonard was killed by Indians in 1676. Sarah then married Benjamin Parsons, who died in 1689; and lastly married Peter Tilton, who died in 1696. She died in 1711.
