MRS. ELLA OWENS, 90, OF ROCHESTER DIES Mrs. Ella Owens, 90, of 713 2nd St. SW, died Friday at the Rochester Nursing Home after a series of strokes and a lengthy illness. She was born at Weaver, Minn., Jan. 10,1878, and was married there June 28, 1907, to Harry Owens, who died in 1935. For 20 years after moving here from Plainview, she had resided with a daughter. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Garnet (Esther) Spring; one son, Lester of Glendale, Calif.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grand children. One daughter and two sons preceded her in death. Services for Mrs. Owens will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Homestead United Methodist Church, where she had been a member, with the Rev. Merle Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery with Anthony, Ebert, Harold Sonnenberg, Wendell Erbes, Theodore Polikowskky, William Cunningham and Wayne Stephan as pallbearers. Friends may call at Ranfranz Funeral Home from 2 p.m. Sunday to 12:30 p.m. Monday, then at the church from 1 to 2 p.m.
