Lewis Elmer Bartow

Lewis Elmer Barteau, 79, died yesterday morning at the home of his step-daughter, Mrs. Mary Sullivan, in Detroit after an illness of five weeks. He was a former Yorktown resident and was a retired traffic manager for a railroad in Michigan.
Surviving are one son, Earl Barteau of Muncie; one daughter, Mrs. John Southworth of this city; two step-daughters, Mrs. Robert Riggins and Mrs. Sullivan, both of Detroit; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Parson Mortuary at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, the Rev. William J. Sayers, pastor of the Friends Memorial Church, in charge. Burial will be in Yorktown Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 1 o'clock Friday afternoon.
