George Washington Hester

According to George Washington Hester's daughter, Mary E. Hester Lovejoy's 14 July 1909 application to the Alabama, Texas and Virginia, Confederate Pensions, 1884-1958 for her Widow's pension, her father, who was in LaGrange, Troup County Georgia, died there in 1852. Many researchers indicate 1853. George Washington Hester lived in 1850 Tallapoosa County, Alabama; therefore, his wife Francis, filed a post-mortem Will in Alabama, Wills and Probate Records, 1753-1999 and others, most likely debtors, filed a Will in Troup County, Georgia, Wills and Probate Records, 1742-1992.
