Ada Mae Shader (Yutze), 78, of Cheyenne died July 3 at United Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 15, 1928 in Douglas, Ariz., and had lived in Cheyenne for more than 40 years.
Ada retired from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center after 23 years of service and worked for more than 50 years as a registered nurse.
She was a member of the Eastern Star Mizpah Chapter No. 36 for over 50 years.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald of Cheyenne; two sons, Stuart of Grand Junction, Colo., and Kelley (Michelle) of Brighton, Colo., and one grandchild, Emily.
Cremation has taken place at Schrader's Sunset Park Crematory.
A service for family and friends will be held at 2 p.m. today at Mylar Park on the corner of Seminoe and Melton in Cheyenne with Dan Rounds speaking to honor Ada's memory.
