Funeral services were held Thursday, July 8, at the Assembly of God church for Mrs. FANNIE WARD, with Rev. M. C. WALTER, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Ward was born December 11, 1902 at Weatherford, Texas and passed from this life July 6, 1947 at the University Hospital at Oklahoma City. She had been a resident of Ringling community for the past 24 years and leaves a host of friends and loved ones to mourn her passing. She is survived by her husband, W. V. WARD; three sons, FORREST, KENNETH, and MAXIS RAY, all of Ringling; six daughters, VYDA PORTER of Orr, WANDA MAE COPELAND, OCTAVIA, DOROTHY, BETTY and OTTRESSIA WARD, all of Ringling; her mother, Mrs. J. H. MARTIN of Clifton, Texas; one brother CLYDE MARTIN of Weatherford, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. T. F. KING of Vernon, Texas, Mrs. P. L. CONLEE of Weatherford, Texas, and Mrs. DALTON BLAND of Clifton, Texas. Pallbearers were GEORGE SULSOM, DAN SHIPMAN, JOE SHIPMAN, BULER MCGOWAN, SAM BEAN and BARON AWTREY.
