Ringling - Funeral Services for Mrs. Viola Mae (Boren) Eubanks, 86, of Ringling are scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Ringling with Jared Gandy officiating. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery of Ringling.
Viola was born on June 26, 1935 at Cornish to the late Elijah E. Boren and Mary Dell (Kenney) Boren. She passed from this life on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the home of her daughters in Orr.
Viola was a graduate of Ringling High School and went on to further her education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University of Durant. She married the late Mr. Jimmy Eubanks and settled down to make her life in Orr raising their three children on the banks of an old creek, surrounded by wildlife she embraced. Viola enjoyed feeding wild coyotes, cooking up bull frog legs that the children brought and getting the freshest milk around from their dairy cows. In later years, Viola made the move to the big city of Ringling where she continued to reside until her passing.
Viola was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mildred Stroud and Louise Manning. Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Bryant and husband Tommy of Orr; sons, Steve Eubanks and wife Sharon of California and Kent Eubanks and wife Carol of Longview, TX; sisters, Bea Hudson and husband Stanley of Ringling and Lucille Stephens and husband Clyde of Sonora, CA; grandchildren, Joseph Eubanks and wife Maria, Jason Eubanks, Aaron Eubanks and wife Nicole, Joel Eubanks and wife Lindsey, Micah Eubanks and wife April, Heather Rhodes and husband Brandon, Jenny Bahn and husband Tim and Katherine Eubanks; 16 great grandchildren and her fur-baby, Ollie; numerous other family and friends.
Casket bearers will be Joseph Eubanks, Jason Eubanks, Aaron Eubanks, Joel Eubanks, Micah Eubanks and Brandon Rhodes. Honorary bearers are Johnny Dewbre, Jayden Phillips, Gavin Phillips and Cooper Rhodes.
Family visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ringling. Condolences may be sent online at www.alexanderfuneralhome.org
