Larry Eugene Dohrn Jr.
(18 Dec 1967 - 22 Jun 2016)
Larry E. Dohrn Jr. December 18, 1967 - June 22, 2016
Dohrn, Larry E Jr., Age 48, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016. He was born in Kayenta, AZ on December 18, 1967, to Larry Dohrn and Ruth Garner Boyd .
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents James and Jewel Garner .
Larry is survived by wife, Andrea Dohrn of Albuquerque, NM, father, Larry Dohrn, mother, Ruth Boyd, step son, Jonathan Moreno, his brother Bryan Dohrn, his sister Cecilia Dohrn-Rivas, sister Michelle Dohrn-Clare, brother Darren Dohrn, Craig Dohrn, Ryan Dohrn, 2 Nieces and 4 Nephews; and special friend Chris Pino.
Larry was a genuine nice guy with movie star looks, a loyal heart and the hardest worker around. People instantly took to him but he was very selective. He wasn't very social but if he liked you he would do anything for you. His passion was cars and was generous with his talents often fixing his family and friends cars with never a concern for how big the job and wouldn't dream of charging anyone he cared for. And when a friend of those he cared for had a need he barely charged them at all. He always offered help and in most cases did so before he was asked. If a friend was in a jam he came to the rescue dropping whatever he was working on and did so with a smile. He was a workhouse often working well into the night and often all night. He did that because he loved working far more than socializing.
He was loyal to those he loved and was willing to do anything they needed. He was kind hearted generous to a fault. He never gave to get and he believed that you showed your love by the deeds you did. He was a true godly servant and never let anyone he knew suffer and often took on way too much but never let you down. His heart was big and true, his word was gold, his love selfless. He never said no even when he should leaving him overworked, overwhelmed, and exhausted. But he never went back on his word. He loved God and was a godly servant. He did so in a quite and un-showy way avoiding recognition. He was simply the best and those that he loved knew it and feel his loss to the core of their being. He was a one of a kind and will never be replaced in this world. He felt himself a misfit in this world and his burden on earth was too big! He longed for Gods kingdom saying everyday lived is one day closer to heaven. While we can't bear losing him and will miss him horribly, we can rest assured that he is finally where he's always wanted to be. In Gods loving embrace and finally at peace!
In spite of Larry living a life of darkness and his struggles in this life, he deeply loved his heavenly father and believed in Him. God in accordance with your word, we pray that Larry will discover that Jesus said, "He who believes in me has everlasting life." John 6-47

NM inmate who escaped found dead in home, authorities say
The Associated Press 23 June 2016
ALBUQUERQUE - A jail inmate who smashed a window to escape from the back of a prisoner transport bus in Albuquerque and fled in an SUV - just a few months after two inmates fled a transport van in southern New Mexico - was found dead in a home Wednesday, authorities said.
Larry Dohrn, 48, apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the home in the Mountainair, New Mexico, area, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.
“Larry Dohrn was located in a residence in the Mountainair area. Based on a witness statement, Larry stated he was going to kill himself prior to law enforcement’s arrival," the department said. “The homeowner reported that Larry was in the residence, but could not confirm if he was alive. Larry was later found by S.W.A.T. deputies deceased with a self-inflicted gunshot wound."
