LYMAN - Joyce Ann Alexander Campbell, 62, of 15 Granny Mack Bridge Road, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 13, 2007. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the wife of John Berry Campbell and daughter of the late Melvin Glenn Alexander Sr. and Geneva Lucille Duncan Alexander. She was a retired employee of Mitsubishi and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Mike Campbell of Greer; two daughters, Melisa Thompson of Lyman and Michelle Fincher of Greer; two brothers, Wayne Alexander of Greer and Melvin G. Alexander Jr. of Gaffney; a sister, Geraldine Thrift of Greer; and eight grandchildren. Services will be held today at 2 p.m.at Friendship Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Steve Durham. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Honorary escort will be the Homemakers Sunday School Class. Source: The Wood Mortuary.
