"Ennis O'Neal Rhoades, 72, of Jonesboro, formerly of Little Rock passed from this life Monday, August 15, 2022 at his home. He was born to the late Lawrence and Lavada Rhoades in Little Rock on June 29, 1950. Ennis has resided in Jonesboro since 2010 after coming from Little Rock and was of the Church of Christ belief.
Ennis coached baseball for many years. He was an avid dog lover and enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He was a master plumber and was very passionate about his profession. Ennis enjoyed working and staying busy. Ennis is a United States Army veteran who served as a member in the 82nd Airborne division.
In addition to his parents, Ennis is preceded in death by his wife, Susie Rhoades; brothers, James Rhoades, Clarence Rhoades, Weldon Rhoades, Elmer Rhoades, and Johnny Rhoades; and sisters, Wilma Laycook and Mildred Sue Klempert.
Ennis is survived by his two sons, Sean (Michelle) Rhoades of Conway and Todd (Cindy) Rhoades of Jonesboro; and three grandchildren, Jordan Rhoades, Mattison Williams, and Ty Rhoades.
All services will be private."
