EDWARD LEON JORDAN born August 6, 1927, in El Campo, Texas passed from this life to his heavenly home on May 7, 2010.
Edward served as a Houston Police Officer where he received numerous awards and retired after 25 years of dedicated service.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Alice and son Leroy "Babe" Jordan. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane and Donald Rogers, son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Linda Jordan. Edward leaves behind six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and many other beloved family members. He touched our hearts and will truly be missed.
Visitation was held at 6 p.m. and Rosary will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home, 1200 W. 34th Street, Houston, TX 77018.
The funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 2140 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77098.
Edward lived to be 82 years, 9 months and 1 day old.
