Helen Beatrice Crawford Crew of Tallapoosa, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Crew was born March 17, 1938 in Felton, daughter of the late Tincie Crawford and Willie Tinsley Crawford. Mrs. Crew retired from Arrow Company after 25 years of service. After retirement, she enjoyed the public working as a waitress and a cashier. Her passion was gardening and canning, but greatest love of all was her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Crawford and Richard Crawford.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Mickey and Donna Eaves of Tallapoosa ; Rickey Eaves of Buchanan; grandchildren, Jessica and Matt Thompson of Temple, Jerrica Eaves and Blake Edwards of Tallapoosa and Jenna and Drake Vines of Heflin, AL; sisters and brother-in-law, Bobbie Kimball of Buchanan, Frances Whitmire of Centre, AL and Shirley and Gerald Cagle of Cedartown; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Ingrid Crawford of Griffin and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday, May 4 at 4:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Lawrence Robinson officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Matthew Thompson, Drake Vines, Blake Edwards, Cody Evans, Darren Robinson and Sam Jiles. Robert Payne and Danny Robinson will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
