Mr. Sterling Edwards Barry, age 78, of Cedartown, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 1999. He was born October 31, 1921 in Polk County and was a member of Friendly Baptist Church. Surviving are wife, Willie T. Barry of Cedartown; two sons, Randy and Mark Barry of Cedartown; three daughters, Libby Newsome and Robin Bennett, both of Rome and Mary Ann West of Alabama. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, December 9, in the Friendly Baptist Church with the Rev. R. B. Hulsey officiating. Interment followed in the Blooming Grove Cemetery with full military graveside rites provided by Brewster Cleveland Post No. 86 of the American Legion.
Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
