James 'Rex' Kimball of Buchanan passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in an Atlanta hospital.
He was born in Cedartown, October 3, 1956, son of Bobbie Sue Crawford Kimball and the late James Roy Kimball, Jr. He worked twenty-seven years for Haralson County School System in maintenance. Rex was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include his mother, Bobbie Sue Kimball of Buchanan; three sisters, Teresa Kimball, Cynthia Kimball and Lisa Kimball, all of Buchanan; a brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Melinda Kimball of Woodstock and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday, October 13 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Elder Steve Kimball officiating. Derek Powell, Scott Kimball, Chad Cox, Gregg Wilkins, Trey Sheppard and Javen Sheppard will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Perryman Cemetery.
