Roma Pearl Cooper

WILDER—Mrs. Roma Pearl Karn, 67, of Wilder, a Wilder resident for more than 50 years, died unexpectedly Tuesday night at her home.
Mrs. Karn was born Jan. 10, 1903, in Hooper, Neb., and moved with her parents to Wilder in 1919. She was married March 15, 1922, in Wilder to Charles Vernon Karn, and the couple since had lived here.
She was an active member of the Golden Gate Baptist Church and the Baptist Women's Missionary Society of Wilder. She was a charter member of Beulah Chapter No. 75, Order of Eastern Star, of Wilder, and was a past matron.
Surviving in addition to Mr. Karn are a son, Charles V. Karn Jr., of Caldwell; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marjorie) Bushnell and Mrs. E. L. (Virginia) Maxwell, both of Wilder; two brothers, Harold Cooper of Arcadia, Calif., and Forest Cooper of West Covina, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Mirna English of Caldwell; and six grandchildren, including Bob Bushnell Jr., of Seattle, Mrs. John Pilote of Enterprise, Ala., Mrs. Tom Church of Grants Pass, Ore., and Beth, Dan, and Brenda Karn, all of Caldwell.
Services will be conducted at the Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell at 2:30 p.m. Friday. The Rev. John Senn of the Golden Gate Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be at Wilder.
