May 10. 2005 7:30AM TUSCALOOSA: Annabelle McGee Herrin, age 81, of Cottondale, died May 8, 2005 at La Rocca Nursing Home after an extended illness. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at St. Luke United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens.
Mrs. Herrin was born on Jan. 13, 1924 in Vance, Alabama to the late Robert Lee and Maggie Belle McGee. She married Adron L. Herrin on Nov. 29, 1943. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she found her greatest joy in taking care of children and cooking for family and friends. She was an active charter member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and Clara Blackmon Chapter #167 Order of the Eastern Star.
