Funeral services for Franklin (Dub) Herring, 61, Peterson, who died Saturday at the Veterans Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ruhama Baptist Church. The Rev. Monroe Reed will officiate with burial in the church cemetery and Hayes Chapel Funeral Home directing.
He Is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Shirley Barnett, Sue Herring and Judy Herring, all of Tuscaloosa; two sisters, Annie Herring, Tuscaloosa, and Mary Jones, Zion, Ill.; two grandchildren, Rhonda Barnett and Vicki Barnett, both of Tuscaloosa; and other relatives.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Foy E. Heath, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Findlay, Mr. and
Mrs. W H. Hogue, Mr. and Mrs. Talmadge Barger, Mr. and Mrs. I.N. Mathews, Lois Harris and mother, friends of Peterson and Howton community, and doctors and nurses, Veterans Medical Center.
He was a veteran of World War II.
