Charles William Tibbs 83, of Coaling, passed away at his residence on January 22, 2021. Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 2:00 at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Reverend Tim McCool officiating.
Charlie Bill was preceded in death by his parents Charles Moore Tibbs and Irene Elizabeth Tibbs, Brother-in-law Neely A. Foster and Nephew Donald James Tibbs Jr. He is survived by Sister Marilyn Tibbs Foster, Nephew John Charles Foster (Janet), Great Niece Victoria Madison Foster Box (Aaron), Niece Kaye Foster Dunlap (Russell), Great Nephew Russell Allen Dunlap, Brother Donald James “Jimmy�?Tibbs (Betty), Niece Terri Tibbs Evans (Bob), Great Niece Ashley Nicole Evans and Great Nephew Hunter Evans.
Charlie Bill was a graduate of Brookwood High School and was retired from Tuscaloosa County Road & Bridge Department. He enjoyed buying, selling or trading most anything but especially cattle, horses and mules. He was a member of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to George LeGrone, Homer Perry and Donny Pearson for their care and many acts of kindness and friendship to Charlie Bill.
Honorary Pallbearers are Douglas Dailey, John W. Foster Jr., Ed Pearson, Glen Pearson, Members of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church, members of Coaling Community, Steve Foster, Tim Foster, Michael Chambliss, Phillip Hoggle, Mackie Deason, and Glen Collins.
