Son of John Foster and Lavina Black. Husband of 1) Dixie A Fikes and 2) Lula Amanda Toomey.
T. H. Foster Of Coaling Dies; Storekeeper
Thomas H. Foster, Coaling storekeeper, died last night at Druid City Hospital after an extended illness.
A native of Tuscaloosa County, Mr. Foster had operated a store at Coaling for some 40 years. He was a member of the Baptist church and for may years took an active part in the civic affairs of his community.
He was the father of John W. Foster, a member of the Tuscaloosa County Board of Revenue.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, John W. Foster of Coaling and Thomas Foster of Palatka, Fla., two daughters, Mrs. Martha Ann Wyatt of Coaling and Mrs. Ethelyn Tobin of California.
He is also survived by a brother, W. K. Foster of Coaling and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Coaling Baptist Church with burial in the Coaling Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Roy Foster, Marvin Foster, Charlie Foster, Wayne Foster, Murray Foster, Ward Tatum, Wesley Tatum and Bill Tatum.
