Hoyett V. (Bud) Williams, 80, of Wichita Falls passed from this life on Thursday, November 30, 2017.
Funeral services will be at 10 AM, Monday, December 4, 2017 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 3 - 5 PM, Sunday at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
Hoyett was born on December 28, 1936 in Big Springs, Texas to Hood V and Janyce Costin Williams. He married Betty Niles on March 8, 1958 in Mauston, Wisconsin. She preceded him in death earlier this year. He was a retired Chief Warrant Officer with the U.S. Army and was also retired as a school teacher. He served on the Freiberg-Cooper Water Board, was a life time member of the American Legion, the VFW, and MOAA (Military Officers Association of America). He loved woodworking and working in his orchard. He was a member of the Thornberry Baptist Church.
He was also preceded in death by a son: David Mark Williams and sister: Joanna Baggett.
Survivors include his sons: Russell H. Williams and wife Judith of San Antonio and Ronald D. Williams and wife Kimberly of Wichita Falls; sister: Patty Berryman and husband Buddy of Burkburnett; grandchildren: Joshua Williams, Matthew Williams, Jacob Williams, Jennifer Williams ,and Christina Offield and husband Steven; great-grandchildren: Mason Williams, Milee Williams, Ayden Cheek, Madison Offield, and Kenadie Offield.
