Betty Faye Hairgrove Bailey, 84, of Royse City, Texas, was born on November 8, 1938, in Timpson, Texas, to the late Mark Corley Hairgrove and Lizzie Rhodes Hairgrove.
Betty Faye was raised in Timpson and was a member of The First Baptist Church in Center. She graduated from Timpson High School. Betty Faye married the late Jimmy Bailey in 1957 and together they had five daughters. They spent over 45 years together before his passing in 2003. Betty Faye worked numerous jobs including Tot & Teen, the Shelby County Sheriff's Department, Shelby General Hospital, grew and sold watermelons, and the Senior Nutrition Center. Some of Betty Faye enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing, and embroidery. She loved spending time with family and her dog, Bella.
