Justine M. Anchors, 90, a Kansas City Northland resident passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Garden Valley Nursing and Rehab in Kansas City, MO. She was born to Charles and Zita (Westrick) Mercer on September 29, 1923 in Kansas City, KS.
Justine was united into marriage to Paul H. Anchors on Feb 13, 1944 in Hattiesburg, MS. Justine was a long time member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Camdenton, MO and had attended St. Therese Catholic Church. She loved her children and family dearly and devoted her life to them.
Justine is survived by her sons, Michael J. Anchors (Leslie) of Polo, MO, Patrick H. Anchors (Joyce) of Scotts Dale, AZ, Timothy J. Anchors of Camdenton, MO, Casey P. Anchors (Robin) of Kansas City, MO; daughters Kathleen M. Anchors of Houston Lake, MO, Mary E. Anchors of Kansas City, MO; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul H. Anchors; parents; brothers, Jack and George; sisters Betty and Delores.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013 at St. Therese Catholic Church with Rev. Joe Cisetti as celebrant. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville, MO where the Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Therese Church.
