Shirley Joan Roush, passed away October 23, 2009 at her home. The former Shirley Stevens was born on April 3, 1939 to Roy W. (b. 1913) and Betty M. (Sauls) (b. 1916) Stephens in Terre Haute, Indiana.
She married Gerry Roush in Las Vegas, NV on September 14, 1958.
The couple lived in various parts of the United States, including Chicago, IL; the State of Washington; Connecticut and finally settled in Amberg, WI in 1996.
She enjoyed needlepoint and photography for hobbies and was active in the American Legion Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society. She served on the Amberg Election Board; the Community Planning Commission and was active in St. Agnes Catholic Church Ladies Society.
Survivors are her husband Gerry, Sr;
two daughters Geri Roush of Fairfax, VT and Kelly (Keith) Boulanger of New Franken, WI;
a son Gerry, Jr.;
a brother Roy (Pat) Stevens of Florida;
three granddaughters, one grandson and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Ronald and Larry Stevens.
Visitation and funeral services held at St. Agnes Catholic Church of Amberg, WI.
