Anna Lucille Cooper Thorne, aka “Lucy" departed this earth on April 13, 2020. Lucy was born on November 26, 1949 in Melbourne, Arkansas to Ardelle and Audie Rush Cooper. She was a wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. She loved gardening, her dogs and spending time with her beloved family. Lucy was a kindhearted soul and was long term member of the Southside Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
Mrs. Thorne is survived by her husband of 50 years, Donald Thorne Sr., sons Donald Gene Thorne Jr. (Samantha) and Roy Thorne (Christy); two brothers, John Cooper and Glenis Cooper of Washington State. She is also survived by one granddaughter, Sierra Thorne Britten, two grandsons, Donald Gene Thorne III and Kelby Thorne; and one great grandson Genesis Britten.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Selena Thorne and one sister, Cleda May Cooper.
