He is survived by 2 daughters, Jacquline Roney of Hobart, OK and Lorrie Newsom of Sikeston, MO; 3 sons, Rollen Newsom, Tony Newsom and wife, Jamie and Kevin Newsom and wife, Caitlynn all of Ducan, OK; 1 sister, Ecil Kight of Tahlequah, OK; 1 brother, Odie Woods of Oklahoma City, OK; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Gandy Newsom; 1 sister, Lela Roddy.
