SNYDER, WILLIAM R. "BILL" - Of Michigan Center passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 under the care of Great Lakes Hospice, his family, and special friend Helen Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Kay; parents, Mike and Elsie Snyder; and brother, Robert. He is survived by his three children, Ron (Teresa) Snyder, Lynda (Gary) Ambs, and Karen (Lane) Nickols; sister, Pat Crowden; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. Bill was active in several organizations, Michigan Center Lions Club, Loyal Order of the Moose, Supervisory Chairman of Cascades Community Credit Union, Leoni Township Business Association, Tax Review Board, Board of Jackson/Hillsdale Department of Aging, Jackson Board of Realtors, and the Jackson Home Builders Association. Services honoring Bill's life are scheduled at the funeral home on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor David Cornwell officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., as well as on Friday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
