WALLRATH, Marjorie J., age 80, formerly of Grand Blanc and Birch Run, died peacefully Tuesday, March 5, 2013 surrounded by her family at Solon Care Center, Solon, Iowa.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 9 at Sharp Funeral Home, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, March 8 from 6 �?8 PM, and Saturday, March 9 from 9 �?10 AM at the funeral home.
Marjorie was born in Flint, MI on October 2, 1932 as the daughter of Elizabeth and Samuel J. Edwards (both deceased). She grew up with three brothers, Samuel (deceased), Eugene (deceased) and Jack Edwards (Clio, MI). She married Edwin E. Wallrath (deceased) on Halloween of 1953. They were residents of Grand Blanc for 35 years and Birch Run for 8 years.
Marjorie enjoyed bargain shopping, flowers, chocolate, and more bargain shopping. She will be missed by daughter Lori L. Wallrath (John M. Hannaford) of Coralville, Iowa, sons Erik E. Wallrath (Donna Y. Wallrath) and Kirt K. Wallrath (Aimee L. Wallrath) of Grand Blanc, sister-in-law Annette J. Ryckman of Traverse City, sister-in-law Barbara Edwards of Swartz Creek; grandchildren Teah, Layla, Evan, Jozy and Sophie, and additional relatives and friends.
