Phyllis L. Pike, age 84, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at her home in Everson.
The daughter of Albert and Myrtle (Jernberg) Look, she was born July 4, 1926 in Colville, Washington, where she grew up and attended local schools.
On July 28, 1945, she married Roland Pike in Spokane, WA. They moved to Whatcom County for a few years; returned to Eastern Washington where she was a cook for the logging crew at Onion Creek; and in the 1950's they returned and settled in the Everson area.
Locally, she worked summers in the Kale Cannery and later as a waitress at the old Hilltop Restaurant. The heart of a homemaker with deep love for her family, Phyllis enjoyed cooking, canning and gardening.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Roland, in 2008.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 6, 2:00 pm at Nooksack Cemetery.
