James Fredrick Kline, of Lynden, Washington, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, January 14, 2008. He was 86 years old. Jim's generous, forthright, independent, and hardworking nature will be missed but forever remembered by his family and friends. Jim dedicated his life to the love and protection of his family and he served his county in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. A Graveside Service will be held in Jim's honor Thursday, January 17, 2008, at 1:00 PM, at Greenacres Memorial Park, in Ferndale, followed by a reception at Cornwall Church. Memorial contributions may be sent in Jim's name in lieu of flowers to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, P.O. Box 2803, Kirkland, WA 98033, or to a favorite charity.
