Nellie Harmond Wright Tye, 80, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Monday in Greenwood Chapel. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Nellie was born Aug. 3, 1932, in Hillsboro. She worked over 40 years as an LVN in numerous facilities across the Tarrant County area. She was a member of North Pointe Baptist Church and a member of several Masonic organizations, including The Order of the Eastern Star, where she served as worthy matron of Hurst Chapter #1099; Daughters of the Nile, where she served as Queen of Rythma Temple; Social Order of the Beauceant; and White Shrine of Jerusalem. She was preceded in death by her husbands, R.M. Wright and Willard Tye. Survivors: Sons, Randall and Richard Wright; granddaughter, Elizabeth Hoover; great-granddaughter and great-grandson, Isabella and Nicholas Hoover, all of Hurst; and numerous nieces and nephews.
