James “Jim" Menefee Fuller, age 74 of Mt Olive, Al died Wed., December 13, 2006 after a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Clarice Sanford Fuller, children, Thomas D. Fuller (Jennifer) of Gardendale, Mary K. Huddleson (Steven) of Harvest, AL. Grandchildren; Amanda and John Fuller of Pleasant Grove, AL and Laura and Anna Huddleston of Harvest, AL.
Mr. Fuller was a retired Principal at Bragg Jr. High School, coached at Mt. Olive Jr. High and Mortimer Jordan before becoming Asst. Principal at E.B. Erwin, then Principal at Bottenfield Jr. High and Gardendale High School. He was a member of Beechwood Baptist Church, in Mt. Olive, retired Pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Cullman and served as interim Pastor of several churches in the North Jefferson area.Mr. Fuller was a member of Gardendale Civitan Club, graduated from Luverne High School and the University of Alabama, and served in the U.S Army at Ft. Holabird in Baltimore, Md.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 14, 2006 from 6-8 pm at Morgan's @Gardendale Funeral Home, with the service Friday, December 15, 2006 at 11:00 in the Chapel at Morgan's @Gardendale Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jeff Griffis and Rev. Percy Bird will be officiating. Morgan's @Gardendale Funeral Home directing.
