Ebenezer Dimock

The son of Timothy Dimmock and Abigail Doane, Ebenezer Dimmock lived in Tolland and Windham Counties in Connecticut with his family. He married Mary E. Keyes September 27, 1739 in Ashford Township, Windham County, Connecticut and fathered twelve children there.
Ebenezer was the grandfather of Col. J. Dimick of the U.S. Army in command at Fort Monroe at the beginning of the Rebellion, and subsequently Fort Warren, Boston Harbor.
Ebenezer fought in the French and Indian War from March 18, 1762 - December 3 1762, and for a short time in the Revolutuionary War.
