Two Killed In M. & O. Wreck
Engineer and Barkeman Meet Death When Engine and Ten Cars Left The Track and Rolled Down Embankment.

Meridian, Miss., May 30. -- At a broken switch a fast south-bound freight train on the Mobile & Ohio railroad was wrecked near Scoobe, Miss., 35 miles north of this city, this morning. Two members of the crew were killed and a third badly injured.
The dead:
John Campbell, engineer, Mobile, Ala.
Jesse Davis, brakeman, Houston, Miss.
The injured man is Roscoe Etheridge, a negro fireman, who was badly scalded. The engine and ten cars left the track and rolled down an embankment. Campbell and Davis were caught under the wreck and crushed to death. The track was torn up and traffic over the road has been seriously delayed.
