Bobby Gene Barber, age 70, of Crockett, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Crockett Medical Center. Bobby was born January 17, 1951 in Saratoga to parents, G. L. Barber and Marjorie Porter Barber. Bobby is a veteran of the United States Army who served in Germany at the end of the Vietnam War. He worked as a machinist for Lufkin Industries for many years and was a member of the Good Shepherd Fellowship Church. Bobby loved writing poetry and had a heart for God. He was a superhero at being Vicki's husband, he was the love of her life.<
He is preceded in death by parents, G. L. and Marjorie Barber; brothers, Milton Barber, G. L. Barber, Jr., Charlie Conaway.
Funeral services for Bobby Gene Barber will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the Good Shepherd Fellowship Church, Rev. Leon Wallace officiating. Interment to follow at the Weches Cemetery.
