Mr. Foster was retired from Malone & Hyde/Fleming Foods, a veteran of the United States Army and a long time member of Highland Heights Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ethel and Boone Foster, three brothers William, Fred and Carl Foster, a sister Shirley Foster Taylor and a grandson William E Brasch III.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Briggs Foster; daughters, Mary Jo Hinson (David) and Janet Brasch; a son, Douglas E. Foster, Jr. (Susan); a brother, Curtis Foster (Rose Mary); seven grandchildren Steve McClellan, Valerie Vaughn, Rick Brasch, Robert Brasch, Douglas R Foster, Tiffany Foster, Amber Foster and nine great-grandchildren.
