Joan is the daughter of John Clifford and Marie Harwell Stricklin. She married Billy Earl Coleman December 7, 1993, in Chandler.
She attended Paden High School and graduated with the class of 1963. She was a member of Paden First Baptist church and enjoyed yard work, the rodeo, and roping.
Her husband, parents and a nephew preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son David Martin; brothers Bill, Jerry, and Wayne Stricklin; a sister, Kay Wallis; and numerous other family and friends.
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Paden with Bro. Terry Pittman officiating.
Interment followed at Paden Cemetery.
Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague were in charge.
