Funeral service for Elmer Almon Cox, 81, of Oklahoma City, was held Monday, 2/3/1992, in the Sowers Memorial chapel of Tuttle, OK. Rev Ed Whitley officiated.
Elmer Almon Cox was born 1/16/1911 in Prague, OK, the son of Roy & Nora (Vanzant) Cox, and died 1/31/1992 in Oklahoma City. Mr Cox had lived in Oklahoma most of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tabitha D. Cox on 8/22/1982, parents, Nora, January 1986 & father, Roy, in 1941, and brother, Millard Cox, February 1972.
Survivors include 2 sons, Bobby G. Cox of Klamath Falls, Oregon & Jerrold L. Cox of Moore, 2 daughters, Glenda J. Whitley of Tuttle & Sharline Hall of Coolidge, Arizona, 1 sister, Jewell Coffman of Oklahoma City, 14 grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews. Interment was in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of Tuttle Sevier funeral home.
