Pauline Kathryn Douglass, 84, of Parkersburg, formerly of St. Marys, WV passed away Jan. 27, 2012, at Eagle Pointe Nursing Facility.
She was born Oct. 10, 1927, in St. Marys, a daughter of the late John and Gertrude West Smittle.
Pauline retired from Colin Anderson Center as a registered nurse and was a Presbyterian by faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Jonette Douglass Walter (Ted) of Parkersburg and Joanne Douglass Reynolds (Frank) of Vienna; two granddaughters, Kate Quinn (Michael) of Leesburg, VA, and Kerri Fowler (Jay) of Melbourne, FL; two great-grandsons, Jacob and Jay Fowler of Melbourne; two sisters, Sara Bogard of East Liverpool, OH, and Mary Goertler (Erwin) of Williamstown; one brother, John Smittle (Sue) of Vienna; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Charles Douglass Jr.; and one son, Stephen Charles Douglass III.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with the Rev. Dr. Patrick Kerr officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Wednesday until time of services at the funeral home.
