Agnes Faye Welborn, 95, of Wichita Falls, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2011, at the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Larry Suttle, Minister of 10th & Broad Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
A daughter of the late pioneer resident of Wilbarger County, Earnest M. and Elizabeth (Bunker) Keenan, she was born on January 21, 1916, in Sherman County, Texas. Agnes worked as a Bookkeeper, and later worked as a Real Estate Agent for many years. She was a member of 10th & Broad Church of Christ, and past member of the Real Estate Board. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Welborn; two sisters, Irene Box, and Olive Davis; and three brothers, W.A. Keenan, E.E. Keenan, and M.T. Keenan.
She is survived by two sisters, Clara Duncan of Sweetwater, and Helen Abston of Wichita Falls; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who loved her dearly.
