Mildred C. Gurnsey, 78, of Hampton, died Monday, March 11, 2002 at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden.
Born Nov. 27, 1923, in Dallas County, she was the daughter of William Cason and Luna Mae Hughes Cason. She was retired from Hurley Press in Camden and a member of Faustina Methodist Church in Locust Bayou.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard F. Gurnsey, and her parents.
Survivors include two daughters; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Faustina Methodist Church with the Rev. Russell Hull officiating.
Burial will follow in Dunn Cemetery near Hampton under the direction of Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce/Hampton.
