Daniel M. Stewart, 58, died Wednesday, April 10, 1991.
Services were held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 12 at First United Methodist Church. Rev. M.B. Smith, retired Baptist minister of Pampa and Rev. Weldon Rives, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mr. Stewart was born in Stratford. He was a graduate of West Texas State University. He married Karmon Guynes in 1952 at Pampa. He lived in Pampa from 1968 to 1971, moved to White Deer and lived until 1976, and moved to Wheeler where he made his home. He was a member of Wheeler Masonic Lodge, First United Methodist Church and was a Shriner.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Dalton Stewart of Amarillo; a daughter, Tonja Koerner of Amarillo; a brother, E. Paul Stewart, J.D. of Lubbock; and four grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to Daniel M. Stewart Science Scholarship Fund, c/o Wheeler First National Bank.
Pallbearers were Gary Davis, Melvin Farrar, Richard Gaines, Larry Hampton, Thomas Helton and Dan Kenney.
