"Young Everett, age 70, died at the family home in Canton Friday, Octobe 2, and was laid to rest the following day in Morris Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Everett was one of the pioneers of Van Zandt County, being born and reared and living most of his life in the Cream Level Community. Surviving relatives are his wife and daughter, Mrs. Frank Rice, Canton; one brother Odis Everett, Cream Level Community; and three sisters, Mrs. Emily Donolios, Mabank; Mrs. Billie Ward, Canton; and Mrs. Minnie Blue, Martins Mill".
