HIGH POINT, N.C. – Jean Barclift Crider died Sun., September 5, 2010, under hospice care in High Point, N.C. She was born Sept. 1, 1919, in Cullman, Ala., to William and Ila Mittella Barclift.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Sat., September 11, at the Little Brown Cemetery in New Site. McMillan Funeral Home of Booneville is in charge of local arrangements.
She is survived by three daughters, Jean Ann Brown (Carroll) of High Point, N.C., and New Site, Mary Crider Bawden (Patrick) of Charleston, S.C., and Bama Crider Saltzman (Paul) of Charlotte, N.C.; two sons, John Elihu Crider Jr. (Kathryn) of Daphne, Ala., and Walter Kevin Crider (Kathy) of Battleground, Wash.; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Elihu Crider; and two sisters, Catherine Jenkins and Margaret Martin.
