James "Jerry" Parker, 75 of Ellisville, MS, died Saturday, February 22, 2014 at his home with all of his family by his side in Ellisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Ellisville, with Rev. Roy Crouch officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, 601-477-3797
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Ellisville Funeral Home and also at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church on 2/26/2014 from 10:00am until service time.
Mr. Parker loved gardening, fishing, and visiting with family and friends. He also loved to pull tricks on his grandkids and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ann Parker and his parents, Franklin and Mildred "Bucklew" Parker.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Parker (Mae), Ellisville, and two daughters, Patricia "Pat" Parker Ezell, (Craig), Ellisville and Virginia "Geni" James Looney, (Larry), Ellisville. One Best Friend and Buddy, Henry Pitts, Ellisville 7 Grand Daughters, 2 Grand Sons, 8 Great Grandsons and 1 Great Grand Daughter. Sisters, Billie (John) Long, Laurel, Lynette (Mickey) Holloway, Soso, Shirley (Van) Carter, Jackson, and Brother, Jimmy Parker (Paulette), Laurel. He also had multitude of friends including one special friend Bob Barnes.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Parker, Shaun James, John Knotts, Richard "Ricardo" Portello, Larry Beech, Rick Geddie, Don Turner.
