Graveside services for Oneida Pearl Bruner, 80, of Roanoke will be Wednesday, May 5, 1999, at 11 a.m. at Cedarwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Tex Ergle officiating.
Mrs. Bruner died Saturday, May 1, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange. A Randolph County native, Mrs. Bruner was born June 28, 1918, daughter of Benjamin and Beulah Foster Fincher. She was a member of Roanoke First United Methodist Church and a retired Knight-Enloe Elementery [sic] School teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Audley Bruner.
Survivors include one daughter, Katherine Bruner Tave of Coos Bay, Ore.; one son, Ben E. Bruner of Montgomery; one grandson; and a sister-in-law, Lillian Fincher of Roanoke.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Annie L. Awbrey Public Library in Roanoke.
