John Presley was one of 3 children born to Lewis & Precia Getzen Danner Presley in Abt 1840 and died in Abt 1850 at the age of 10 years of age. The other two were Rachel Presley and Levi Presley.
John was born sickly and after his mother died in 1841, he lived with his grandmother Amelia Stokes Danner, until her death in 1848. His grandfather Thomas George Getzendanner had died when John was Abt the age of 4 years.
Following his grandmother's death, John lived in the household of his uncle Thomas Getzen Danner & his wife, Nancy Bates Danner. John Presley died Between the years of 1850 and 1854 and is buried in the Getzendanner Plantation Cemetery.
