William Comstock, b. 1718. Son of Thomas Comstock and Mercy Comstock (Jenckes). Married to Ann Comstock (Spink), daughter of Capt. Ishmael Spink.
William and Ann Comstock had the following children: Thomas, b. 1741; Mercy; Deliverance; Elizabeth; Anna; Sarah Ishmael; Lydia, David; John; Susannah; and Gideon.
Served as a 1st Lieutenant under Captain Samuel Sweet, in Elliot's Regiment of State Artillery, Dec. 12, 1776, in the American Revolutionary War.
