She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles “Lindbergh” Smitherman; children, Charles “Dale” Smitherman (Kim) and Robin S. Hamlin (Rick); grandchildren, Chris and Susan Smitherman; one brother, Jerry Frederick and her sisters, Nettie Romager, Jessie Burnett and Lanice Chandler and several loving extended family members.
