MARY LOU VARNER, a resident of Green Forest, AR, was born December 22, 1941 in Davenport, Iowa, a daughter of Edwin and Francis (Huffman) Neyens.
She departed this life Thursday, July 4, 2012 in Green Forest, at the age of 70.Mary was a devout Christian. She was a member of the Master Gardeners Club and the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved knitting and crocheting in her spare time.On October 24, 1981 she was united in marriage with Paul Truman Varner who survives her of the home. She is also survived by two brothers, Larry McCabe of Garfield, AR and Gary McCabe of Los Angeles, CA; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Francis Neyens.
Visitation will be 5 until 7:00 PM, Sunday, July 8, 2012 at the Nelson's Green Forest Chapel. Graveside Services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Denver Cemetery. Interment will follow at the Denver Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be sent to the Denver Cemetery Fund, PO Box 705, Green Forest, AR 72638.
